Improving the Essentials Kit

What's good everyone,

I would like to first thank everyone, who has downloaded, shared, or view my character kit. It is heavily appreciated. With in the upcoming weeks, I am planning on modifying and adding small additions to all current packs. Why? Because I'm learning how to optimized better and useful for more lower-end hardware.

Some of the models, for instance, in the Medical Lite Kit and Law Enforcement Lite Kit. Some of the assets like the Officer Shirt and Medical Gloves are WAY too over polyed. I can simplify some elements such as poly count of the objects and reworking how should I add thickness to clothing. I have been doing research on the latter and notice that my answers always end up being, "It depends..." So, I looked online at how other 3D modelers do their and funnily enough they're right. Some keep clothing items flat, Others added rims around areas where thickness is required. Other just apply thickness to everything.

Also, in addition that learning about that, I also learned that a lot of models clothing are simplified and a lot of the heavy work is from the textures. Probably because they're baked down from a higher sculpt or textured manually. Which mean, to some degree, I'm going in the right direction. When I was working the Khakis and Jeans Materials, I mainly relied on references to make sure I'm getting the right look and seams being places correctly. Now I just need to apply these elements better to other elements like the shirts and other elements.

So, pretty much. Just like a wise man once said, K.I.S.S, Keep It Simple, Stupid...

Thank you for reading, look forward to the 2nd revision.
